The actual Cavendish House was a British Mansion built, in Danville, California, from 1983 to 1985, created by renowned architect Doug Darling, designer Barbara Elliot, and British owners Peter and Pauline Lay.
The team sought fine French Style furniture and unusual, one of a kind, objet d' art to compliment the traditional design. The owners downsized in 2011, to retire, so they stored their beloved, and sort after, pieces.
This is the first time the owners have placed selected items for sale.
