I’m Ecuadorian, borned in Guayaquil. It was in Florence, Italy when I discovered fabric dyeing techniques such as Silk painting, Batik and Tie dye, Shibori. Unaware of such techniques, and witnessing all of its posibilities, it immediately captured my attention.
Ever since practicing and improving the method, I am constantly finding many applications of this fascinating art form. Every endeavor is a surprise, not knowing exactly the outcome until completed makes this kind of work intriguing and exciting.
Although they are very complex techniques and demand several processes, the outcome results in a wonderfull one of a kind piece.
