Old Hickory Furniture Company

Description

When it comes to the Old Hickory Furniture Company, we must say—rugged has never looked quite so refined.

Named in tribute to Andrew Jackson and his “Old Hickory” moniker, the Old Hickory Furniture Company first set up shop in an abandoned Indiana church in 1892. Crafted of hickory trunks that are boiled until bendable, Old Hickory Furniture Company pieces feature a craftsman aesthetic that is similar to that of Gustav Stickley. Their appearance has long made them covetable by cabin owners and prestigious hotel lodges, alike, and in fact, in 1906 the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone was furnished exclusively with Old Hickory chairs.
