moreThis newly restored and exquisite RARE rosewood center table/ dining table/library table designed by Larry Lazlo for Bexley Heath for John Widdicomb was in a very limited edition of only 100 tables ever done. It is modern with exquisite rare rosewood that was extinct at the time. The two metal tags are on the bottom. This is #7/ 100. Larry Lazlo designed this between the years of 1997 and 1998. It is from his Moderne Collection that was greatly influence by the 30's and 40's. Bexley Heath was only in business for a few years. John Widdicomb had purchased this rosewood before it became outlawed to use. At the time this was produced this table sold for over $10,000.00 then. It is a very limited edition of only 100. We have never seen another one ever. It has components of architectural elements mixed with art deco mixed with sculptural mixed with modern. It is square with a beautiful step base.
This is a great table for a library, entry , hallway or center table in a living room. This is beyond stellar and beyond rare. less
