Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali created his magnificent surrealist paintings by harnessing what he believed to be “irrational understanding” stationed at the very edge of one’s unconscious sanity. Salvador Dali’s pieces capture the artist’s emblematic struggle between illusion and delusion. Although Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso are often recognized for their impact on 20th century art, Dali believed only Picasso to be his equal.
