In 1930 Luther Replogle put himself up to one admirably high task—to get the globe out of the classroom and into the home. Recognizing that this meant thinking of the globe as art rather than a tool, Luther began assembling in his Chicago apartment. Since then, Replogle Globe pieces have developed a reputation of being not only scholastic, but marvelously chic. In fact, in 2008 Replogle Globe décor partnered with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create a line of globes indebted to Wright’s most prolific furniture designs— Yes, the best of both worlds.
