Heywood-Wakefield

Description

It seems to us that the greatest compliment one could get is "never change"—Well, Heywood-Wakefield Furniture never has…

The result of two furniture entities uniting in 1897 (hence the hyphen), Heywood-Wakefield found its groove in the Mid 20th-Century with what’s since become its signature style—a hybrid of Art Deco and Danish Modern influences. Like the pretenseless designs of Paul McCobb, Heywood-Wakefield pieces are straightforward, disarmingly unadorned, and undeniably beautiful in their function. Hallmarks of their revered Mid-Century style—which is still in production today, mind you— include sculpted handles, atomic legs, and delicious golden birch wood.
