Arthur Umanoff

More so than virtually any other maker, Arthur Umanoff pieces are instantly recognizable. Notable for their mixed use of slatted wood and iron, Arthur Umanoff décor trends towards laid-back entertaining pieces like bar stools and bar carts. With a clean-lined, Mid-Century aesthetic that is reminiscent of Paul McCobb, but an indoor-outdoor mentality that is wholly their own, these are pieces that—although produced by relatively obscure companies like Shaver Howard—remain as iconic as any of Knoll or Herman Miller’s offerings.
