Arthur Elgort

Despite being formerly trained as a painter, the most famous Arthur Elgort pieces are immortalized in the pages of Vogue, GQ, Rolling Stone, and Glamour magazines. Similar to Ellen Von Unwerth’s art, Arthur Elgort’s decor is predominantly black and white. In 1971, Elgort’s now iconic “snapshot” style debuted in British Vogue and transfixed the fashion photography industry with his incorporation of natural lighting and movement.
